Kulture Klub Art
Weekly viewing of arts and cultural events in the Twin Cities, such as performances at the Walker Art Center or a tour to Franconia Sculpture Park.
Intensive workshops ranging from 2-6 months with professional artists of excellence in diverse disciplines.
Single session artist-led activity, either in-house at KKC or in artists studios. We lead Open Mics, outings to Franconia Sculpture Park, work with Art on Wheels, and join with homeless youth shelters to conduct other Art Events throughout the year.
Monthly session featuring an opportunity for youth to freestyle with their peers and a guest artist. This cypher includes live beat production and live instruments.
Don't You Feel It Too?
Partnership with artist Marcus Young, Health Care for the Homeless, and Somatic Therapist Thea Lee. Young led youth in a practice of dancing one’s inner life in public space and exploring Somatic Therapy.
Through a series of exercises that shifted from looking to questioning, photographing to modeling, questioning to answering, artists considered the many tactics of portrait photography.
Studio Project w/ Big Quarters
Partnership with local hip-hop artists Big Quarters to create a music artist-in-residence at St. Barnabas Apartments.
