This installation is the result of a collaboration between Edwin Beylerian and the artist members of Kulture Klub Collaborative, and was produced with the support of Forecast Public Artworks. Edwin Beylerian is a Minneapolis artist and designer with a background in fine art and science. He has been working for many years with complex, colorful abstract imagery based on patterns, combining intuitive and formal approaches and using various traditional and digital media. The resulting work is meant to be free from specific messages. Instead, it aims to engage the viewer in a deeper level of the mind and feelings, much like when we listen to a piece of music, look at patterns in nature, in the sky, in the human body or in the many ways we decorate ourselves and our surroundings.
